Added Fat :: Fat has 2.5 times more calories than grain. Therefore, higher fat in the diet allows you to feed less while getting the added benefits of better coat condition and reducing the carbohydrate load, which can reduce the chance of digestive upset. Part of the fat is from Rice Bran, which provides Omega 3 fatty acids and Gamma Oryzanol not found in soybean oil.
Organic Minerals :: Bioplex® organic minerals are designed to match the natural trace minerals in forages and grains and nutritionally "fit" equine metabolism for better absorption during digestion. They provide better mineral nutrition in organs and tissues for improved immune response and hoof, hair and coat condition.
Yeast Cultures :: Equine research has proven that yeast cultures aid hindgut fermentation, improving fiber digestion and phosphorus absorption. Yea-Sacc® 1026 is an equine specific yeast strain that also helps stabilize the GI tract.
Essential Amino Acids :: Most amino acids are provided in the natural diet of the horse. Others, specifically lysine and methionine, are essential but not provided in sufficient amounts. These amino acids are critical for growth, muscle, and tissue development and are guaranteed on every bag of TRIBUTE™.
Biotin, Vitamin E and Selenium :: These three nutrients are most often supplemented by horse owners. The levels of these three nutrients are balanced in our products for proper maintenance. Proper levels and balance with other nutrients are essential to optimize essential body functions.
MTB-100™ and Bio-Mos® :: Maintaining gut health and integrity is essential for optimum performance for any horse. Both products help with challenges associated with mycotoxins and pathogenic bacteria, such as E. coli and Salmonella. MTB-100 is in all of the TRIBUTE™ products while Bio-Mos is only in Mare and Foal products.
